We use CRT heap with LFH policy (Low fragment Heap) exclusively enabled in Main (). Problem is coming on windows 10 platform.

    Jun 29,  · Memory fragmentation is not caused by how you access the memory, it's caused by allocating and freeing chunks of memory in such a way that lots of smaller, useless holes appear that can't be reused as a "bigger chunk" because they aren't contiguous.

It means that the memory is divided into parts of fixed size and when some processes try to occupy the memory space, they sometimes are not able to occupy the whole memory leading to some holes in the memory. This is memory fragmentation. It is of 2 types.
